Founded in 1899 by inventor, engineer, and tinkerer Harutun Bab Azadian, upon his arrival in New York City.  Azadian later moved to Syracuse, New York where he founded the Azadian Gage and Instrument Company and became one of the countries most outstanding watchmakers and innovative designers. Currently Azadian Custom Works is owned and operated by Thomas and Robert Cargen the Great Grandsons in collaboration with Henry and Michael Cargen the Grandsons of H.B. Azadian himself. Everything we make is crafted from hand selected materials to ensure each item is unique and one of a kind. Focusing on repurposed wood, metals and unique materials to achieve a level of uniqueness and authenticity not found anywhere else. We don't just build for the loving of building, we do it to satisfy our endless passion for bending wood and shaping metal.

Privacy Policy

What information do we collect? How do we use it?

When you order, we need to know your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, credit-card number and expiration date. This allows us to process and fulfill your orders, and notify you of your order status. Your phone number is necessary for FedEx Expedited shipping and International shipping. It will also be used to contact you if there is a question regarding your order. In example, if there are unclear shipping directions or special request notices, we might use your phone number to reach out to you. Phone numbers will not be used for sales calls. They will not be given out to any agency regardless. Nobody is getting ANYTHING from us unless we see a subpoena. Your information, especially your phone number will remain locked away in our secure database for up to one year for your convenience. 

You may voluntarily sign up to receive our Workshop Email to learn more about special offers and free content. For this service we need an e-mail address we use to send the information you requested. E-mail addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

When you enter a contest or other promotional feature, we may ask for your name, address, phone number and e-mail address, so we can administer the contest and notify winners.

We personalize your shopping experience by using your purchases to shape our recommendations about other merchandise that might be of interest to you. We also monitor customer traffic patterns and site usage to help us develop the design and layout of the store. The browsing information collected is completely anonymous, we do not currently have a system in place that allows us to link browsing habits with registered users or guest customers. We currently have no plans to collect this information at any point.

The information collected by our website may include: Any details you enter and submit, such as name, address, email address, etc. Your IP address, referrer. Session information stored in cookies that are used to ensure accurate data is extracted from our systems. These cookies do not include any personal data. Under no circumstances will we hold sensitive payment details such as your credit card number, expiry date and security code.

Any information we collect will be used in accordance with applicable laws for the following purposes: To comply with legal requirements. In certain cases, we may use your email address to send you information about products, services, or in support of a transaction – completed or otherwise. In such a case, you will be offered the option to opt in/out.

How do we protect customer information?

Personal information is collected when an account is set up for a purchase transaction using SSL encryption. Only that information which is needed to complete the transaction is required. Your account is password protected, and you can access it at anytime.

Azadian Custom Works maintains a strict "no-spam" policy. Your e-mail address will never be sold to a third party. We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. These include internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, as well as physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems.

Our commitment to children's privacy

Azadian Custom Works contains no objectionable material and is considered to be "child safe." Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information on our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.
